Opportunity for BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician to join depar! tment of three Pulmonologists, five Internists, one Rheumatologist, one Neurologist, 10 Hospitalists and one PA. This hospital-employed position with a 12-bed Critical Care unit is in our 346-bed regional referral teaching hospital, recognized nine years as a Thomson-Reuter’s “Top 100 Hospital†nationally for clinical outcomes, effective management and growth.
Our 300+ physician medical staff offers nearly all medical and surgical subspecialties. We are a Level II trauma center, and offer post-graduate education programs on site, including a Palliative Medicine Fellowship, a four-year Cardiology Fellowship and a Family Medicine Residency. Our outpatient clinic practice setting is enhanced by close access to inpatients, on site medical imaging, wide range of specialists for consultation, a sleep lab, electronic medical records, PACS and a full service medical library. Our 10-physician hospitalist team manages most admissions originating through the ED.

Practice in our 14-county service area with a population of 215,000 . Referrals and admissions come from our network of nine hospitals, 34 primary care clinics and 10 specialty clinics. We also have one of the longest established Hospice programs in the state, offering inpatient care, home care and Hospice Center care.
