The Case Development team fuels the heart of BRG’s work by identifying cases for our internal teams. Without a consistent stream of cases, BRG cannot achieve its goals. As the Data Entry Clerk, you are responsible for achieving a daily goal of identified cases and creating recovery opportunities for BRG. The role is an opportunity to work inside a hard-working team mixed with seasoned and new employees with both established and new responsibilities.

KEY RESULTS


Case Development’s primary metric is the number of identified cases, and its secondary metrics are (a) the quality and consistency of information provided on those cases and (b) the consistency and punctuality of work attendance.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • You will review medical claims files to determine liability/recovery potential
  • You will handle incoming and outgoing calls to members, attorneys, third party administrators, and insurance adjusters
  • You will recognize patterns in accident listings, medical claims data, and matters with recovery potential to improve overall accuracy and case creation volume
  • You will obtain all contact information for each party involved in a case
  • You will review letters and other correspondence from law offices and insurance adjusters
