Abstractor
Seeking an experienced, full-time real estate Title Examiner to support our fast paced and customer service oriented team. In this role you will perform a variety of tasks, including:
Responsibilities:
- Have a working knowledge of multiple county websites to obtain owners of record, property taxes and legal descriptions for real estate parcels.
- Research titles, deeds, wills and related documents to establish property ownership
- Copy or summarize recorded documents, such as leases, right of ways, and judgments affecting specific property
- Examine liens, judgments, leases, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify legal description, ownership and restrictions
- Comprehensive knowledge of judgments and attachment to real estate.
- Read legal descriptions.
- Provide quality research and reports based on client needs and criteria
- Calling on Foreclosure sales

Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents to obtain and understand legal property descriptions
- Basic familiarity with standard Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word
- Position will require extensive travel to various county offices
To qualify for this position, you should have previous title examiner experience, be able to multitask and prioritize, be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and work well in a relatively close environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
