WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for supply planning for both local production and imported goods, and the arrangement of finished goods from overseas factories. He/she needs to:
Perform Sales Network Planning to ensure optimized DIO.
Work with factory planners to keep the flexibility of the production plan.
Ensure the inventory level to avoid OOS or excess.
Work with Asia Customer Service for imported goods arrangement and insurance claim for finished goods in case of damage.
Work with M&S and the brand team on product portfolio and marketing strategy to adjust production schedule and optimize DIO.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform SNP to generate a replenishment plan. Daily review of RRP4 (production plan) together with MTD shipment progress. Closely work with factory planner and keep the flexibility to adjust production plan timely based on the updated market trend & demand to avoid OOS or excess.
- Highlight risk items to TWP2 to adjust the production plan, while informing KA and GT planning team to manage order to avoid CVS penalties.
- Highlight low inventory level items and shelf life to key accounts for shipment management.
- Ensure smooth supply transition for the phase in/ out or NPL/ delisting to avoid OOS/ excess.
- Communicate with ACS and arrange all necessary import arrangements to ensure sufficient inventory to fulfill market needs and insurance claims in case of shipment damage.
- Follow up on the import shipment with 3rd party warehouse and shipping companies, and the custom clearance-related documentation.
- Support manager and department for ad-hoc tasks, projects, and activities.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
- University graduate
- 5+ years of practical business experience in logistics function with supervisory experience.
- Good command of Chinese and English.
- Good PC skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPonit.
