We are seeking a full-time, Closure Planner for our client at the Pueblo Chemical Depot in Pueblo, CO.
The selected candidate will provide support to Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD) including the Transition and Divestiture Office and Command Staff in preparing for the closure of PCD, tentatively scheduled for 2025. This individual will be a key member of the transition and divestiture closure team. The candidate will coordinate with personnel and divisions inside of PCD and various outside stakeholders including PuebloPlex (redevelopment entity), Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) personnel, Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) personnel, Chemical Material Agency (CMA) and others as needed.
Duties include the coordination of issues ranging from personnel retention and transition, state permitting coordination, utility transfer, government property turn-over, and eventual closure of the installation. The candidate will help track and report on closure activities. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating and facilitating monthly leadership meetings and possess strong note taking and tracking skills.
Qualifications:
This position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.
The candidate is required to have a minimum of at least 5 years relevant experience in planning. Experience with base closure is strongly preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment of this position is that of a typical office position. You must be able to:
- Work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Tour and inspect various facilities, buildings and properties across the base.
- Minimal lifting will be required.
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
The Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on education, experience, skills, and location.
